Filming the advert
The advert had to be 30 seconds long which I managed to make it. It was recorded both outside and inside. The inside recording was in the studio which we recorded me on the sofa opening and drinking the can of coca cola. The outside recording was just outside the creative studios on a patch of grass I thought would do perfectly. We recorded me tripping outside from loads of different shot types. The whole thing had to be done over 4 weeks.
For props we used a sofa and a can of coca cola. The equipment we had was a camera, tripod and a green screen. The green screen was used so I could have a red background. I couldn't wear green because it would have messed with the green screen. It didn't take us long to film less than the time we booked the studio for.
My crew was Connor he helped film me when I was acting for the advert. He complained that it was cold so we had to finish quite quickly but that's fine, health and safety is more important.

Lighting change
There was a slight problem that I hadn't noticed with one of the shots, for some reason the shot kind of bends with me as I fall, I asked my lecturer and he said it might be something to do with the lens of the camera when we did the shot. We noticed when we added colour to the advert but couldn't tell before because it was dark but as soon as you notice you cant unsee it.

Editing
The editing software I used was premier pro. The first part of my edit was me walking then I trip and fall. I went on a site to learn how to make a clip slow motion which I found out you can just go to speed/duration and make it lower than 100%, I put mine at 30% which I was happy with. I start to cut to loads of shots of me falling as you can see I wore white and it was kind of wet on the day of filming so I had to land in a way so my arms and feet touched the floor.
All the shots of me falling are in slow motion. I put the song nessun dorma over when i am falling to make it more dramatic and to get the viewers attention. I then make it suddenly cut to me sitting on the sofa opening and drinking the can of coca cola the first shot you can see all of my body and all of the sofa but then when I go to drink it, it cuts to a close-up so you can see it clearly. Lastly I cut it to my poster I made to advertise the product even more.

Print based adverts
My first print based advert is a poster, i went with a red theme background since coca cola promote their drinks with the colour red, The two cans in the middle of the poster are clinging together and as you can see instead of coke I made it look as if a volcano is erupting to make the advert more dramatic. I went with the slogan "feel the fizz" because it goes with my film advert. I also added a coca cola logo at the bottom left corner of the poster so it promotes them even more and so the audience know who the company is.

My second print based advert is a billboard, I went with the same design as the poster, I thought it fit well and when the target audience see billboards they only have to read the slogan and the logo which will most likely get read easily if people are stuck in traffic and they have a look around or if people are passing by and take a look.

My final print based advert is a bus banner. I went with a different design that would fit well with the bus. I made my slogan "feel the fizz" in a coca cola font since coca cola's font works really well. I also put a can of coca cola to show what I am advertising and it also shows the logo really well so the audience know what the company is. As you can see in the photo when cars get stuck in traffic they tend to look around to see what can amuse them while they wait, so they will see the advert straight away and will be able to read it in time.
